The structure of Singles, Doubles and Triples Match Play is designed to flow smoothly. There are time limits for initiating service and bench recesses allowed after sets and matches.

The Frescotennis match Point Structure is as follows: (5) Points to win (1) Set. It takes (4) Sets to win (1) Match. It takes (2) Matches to win the complete IFL Ranked Match.

The official dimensions for Singles service and return boxes are - Service: 5X5' and, Return: 6X8'. Players must remain within these parameters until a LIVE BALL is created.

The Center Line Umpire is a vital and much appreciated role in FT. This centrally elevated officiating position provides clear and concise scorekeeping and precision line-calling.

3-Player Royale is a revolving FT game mode that allows each player to fight for an individual win while being forced at times to play with an ally as a "doubles" partner.

When returning service, Doubles partners may stand anywhere behind the backline. The legal service receiving range is anywhere in-between the innermost doubles lines.

There are two positions in Triples mode - (2) Linesman and (1) Striker. The Striker position can be anywhere on-court, while a Linesman must never cross into the Volley Zone.

Be alert when playing on a confined court with tight fencing or other parties present. The (2) bounce rule creates an enormous playable space and flexible movement is essential.

There are (3) IFL accepted paddle material types. Solid wood, solid or shell fiberglass and solid carbon fiber. Weight and reactive feeling are important factors for paddle choice.    

 The IFL believes that in coordination with a healthy diet and lifestyle, playing Frescotennis 1-3+ times per week may help achieve these results. This is based on real world medical studies and feedback from current IFL members.

AN INTENSE (or relaxed) 2-6 player, easily learned, precision engineered paddle sport played on any full tennis (or pickleball) court with a strong emphasis on strategy, sprinting, cardio, teamwork and core fitness training. Frescotennis is played with handmade fiberglass, solid carbon fiber and exotic wood paddles utilizing unique, high-velocity 50mm hybrid rubber balls. A remarkable core body workout!
